Default Hyperion Duo 3 720i overload

I've got a Hyperion EOS 0720i Super Duo charger. It's been working fine for charging all my packs with 24V power supply.

When I try to charge a smaller 3S battery on channel one with 24V input, as soon as I confirm the charge it apparantly overloads the power supply. I'm using a pair of converted HP power supplies and they basically shutdown and the fans go to low speed. I have to power cycle them to reset.

I can charge this same battery just fine on channel 2 with 24V input and I can charge this same battery on channel one if the input is only 12V. I've also tried different 3S batteries on channel one with the same results.

Has anyone seen this behavior before or do I have an issue with my charger?

It is complaining about output voltage being too high.

You have a charger problem on one channel. (Obviously!) Not knowing anything about your chargers innards, I have no idea as to the actual cause.
You indicated that the PS goes into an over current shutdown. This is rather telling, and indicates a serious charger failure.
