help with battery for sullivan smoke pump
hi, i have a matt chapman 1/3 scale cap eagle with a da 120 cc and 2 life A123 batteries, 6.6 volts total and 5000 mh each, total of 10,000 MaH. i have installed a sullivan pump and it requires 4.8 to 12 volt supply. here is the question. the Sentinel duralite batteries have 4 leads: one warning light lead, 2. the ec3 lead to connect to JR DX 922 receiver, 3. a test lead, 4. a charge lead. my question to you all, can i connect the smoke pump to one of the leads. the airplane uses about 1500 mah total per 15 minute flight. the smoke pump uses about 300 Mah. will this damage anything if one of the batteries is giving energy yo two source thru two seperate leads?

RE: help with battery for sullivan smoke pump
I have seen where 28 people have seen this post, but no one can answer me, since they probably have never heard of what i did before, but, i am here to tell you all, that i did fly plane with this set up and there were no problems. so the smoke pump was attached to the charge lead on one of the two 5000 MAH Life A123 batteries (6.6 volts). both batteries are connected to JR receiver using the EC3 connectors.
here is the flight:

the only thing is the function of this pump, i am concerned that it does not work well. look at 1 minute and .04 seconds. tell me what you think of this.
