i was in the same situation. Nobody writes good reviews, they just accept what they have. It's only when someone doesn't read the user guide then gets confused people to start to write bad reviews. I ended up getting the powerlab 8 and MPA board because that was at a local'ish hobby shop. It was about time i bought something from a real shop and not internet.

Lool, recharge my car battery using my lipo that I just charge it?! I guess that a good 3S lipo with high C discharge rate can start a car engine as normal led acid battery do!

I got a flat battery and had my plane stuff in the car. Sadly I couldnt get a good enough connection let the amps in to the car to start it, otherwise I am sure it would have worked.
If you are really remote and charging your batteries from your car you could always keep the engine running or park at the top of a hill!

yeah it's called regenerative discharge, When you discharge the lipo the energy goes into the Pb battery that it's connected too.

The i~charger has this feature, I can't remember if the TP820CD had this feature also. But maybe it could maybe worth a consideration when buying.

I have one and it is an excellent charger. I also have Schulze and Orbit chargers and the TP is by far the best.

It looks like a great charger. I have another Thunder Power, and they are some of the best chargers on the market.
