Q1. I was wondering if it is possible to have battery with a to high "C" rating
Q2. What would be the best "C" rating for a savage xs flux

Higher C the better,
companies use their own test to obtain C ratings as it's not an industry standard test. But lithipedia done some lipo tests using one method for them all. Some interesting results.

From my past experiences with heavier 4x4 ...I don't go any lower than a 40C pack. Even though I didn't see a weight for the XS the big tires and extra drive shafts put extra strain on the motor. To keep the motor chugin' along, a 40C rating would be a safe bet for keeping the temps down on the battery. The XS comes with a 30C rated battery already, but the price difference between 30C & 40C is so small, I'd buy 40C for the extra performance gain.

A1. If size and weight of the battery is crucial then a too high C rate is no good as it increases size&weight.
A2. A 2 or 3 cell pack with a 20 or 25C rating is all you need. A higher C rate will do nothing for the stock truck except add weight.
