Novice, interested in converting an old drone for a contest with STRICT rules, and need some info before proceeding to purchase drone. What volt system do most drones use, and how long do charged batteries last/take to recharge. Do most motors run forward and backwards, and is it possible to reprogram a remote?

reed all this info should be in the contest rules ..please check them.. prop size kv max fpv and battery max voltage and cells should be included..in some type of rules sheet.
