I have a Spektrum DX5 Pro Tx. The charger I use is the Dynamite P2 Passport which has worked perfectly. I have the correct charging wire from Spektrum, There is no balance plug on the battery. Just the connector that goes to the tx. I set the charger mode to Lipo CHARGE not balance. The charger won’t charge. It says balance wire not connected. What the hell am I doing wrong??

Edited to add, I was thinking there may be a "sub Menu" that's got it looking for the balance lead...

As far as I can see, the Dynamite Passport P2 AC/DC Multi-Charger does not have a non-balancer change mode.
But, you can wire a "cheater" cable to connect to the LiIon (Lithium Ion - not LiPo) pack's 2-wire main discharge lead to the charger's main and balancer port.
What you want is something like this: OMP M1 Battery Charging Lead 2S XH Battery Charging Adapter OSHM1059 - Buddy RC
This one has the wrong connectors on it, but it is wired the way you need to charge your 2S LiIon pack with your Dynamite Passport P2 AC/DC Multi-Charger.
You can make up your own if BuddyRC doesn't have the right one.
