Just become aware that the very popular iMAX B6 chargers have a large number of counterfeit / fake / cloned chargers on the likes of eBay and Amazon.

Are the only GENUINE iMAX B6 chargers made by SKYRC and have the 'scratch n sniff' holographic sticker on the base?

Regarding the (I'll be gracious here) clones okay or are some better than others?

If some are better than others (as I suspect), how can you get a 'good' clone as opposed to a bad one?? Is there any way to identify these?

Really wandering around in the dark here. Some B6's appear to be very cheap (= fake / avoid) whereas others seem to be top price.

Expensive doesn't necessarily mean better?

btw I'm based in the UK so I need region-specific advice here. Folks from across the pond are welcome to respond but I'm not going to ship an item from the US and pay import duty, VAT and the Royal Mail's collection charge of £10 in addition to carriage charges.

Hard to say something is fake if it all comes from China. I believe I bought a fake a few years ago off Ebay, it was $13. I've been using it regularly 100's of times. No issues.

Fake IMAX B6 Chargers is very danerous for Lipo battery,it will make lipo battery fire or puff off.

I have a fake surefire light for my gun and side by side there is no difference. The led is just as bright. I paid $30 and a surefire m300c is $360.
I believe what's happening is the company hired to build these products are selling them for themselves.
A battery charger is a lot different than a flashlight. Id only buy one from a certified dealer. A lipo can burn your house down. Choose the best charger you can afford and buy from a certified dealer dealer. Its the only way you can be 100% sure you get a real one.
