Question which wires pt 2

if i solder the jst to the charging wires how do i charge the lipo. im confused on what is probably a simple process. thanks.

You need set of male&female JST connectors, so the ones on the battery you plug into opposite sex ones, charge wires or ESC units.

thanks joseph, still seems wrong to solder 18 gauge wires on jst to 14 gauge wires on battery.

That shouldn't be any problem unless you draw heavy currents that 18g can't handle.
