Default Plane Batteries VS Car Boat Batteries

Is there a difference between a Airplane battery and Boat Car Lipo Battery i found a battery i want to purchase for my plane but it says car and Boat?

Hi Kobra22,

Electrically, there will be no difference between (for instance) a 3 cell Lipo for a car VS a 3 cell Lipo for an airplane. The difference is in the physical construction, car & boat batteries are in much tougher, and therefore heavier & larger, cases than the airplane Lipos are. If you have the room in the plane and can live with the weight penalty you could use the one you want, but it'd likely fit better and fly better to use an airplane specific battery
