Default Redundent Battery System

I am hooking a Redundent Battery System in my plane. I am hooking one battery to the battery channel on the receiver and the other one in an empty one. I just realised that I don't have an empty one. I was told I could Y into another channel such as Elev. Ail, or anything else. I need sone help, will this work. If so I don't have to buy another receiver. Thanks, Nick

Use the y-harness. It will work just fine. Dennis

WHat I have done in the past is to use a Y harness as an aileron extension that way I don't increase the number of connectors and still have the extension for the aileron to plug into.
