airtronics transmitter battery recycle?

Default airtronics transmitter battery recycle?

I pulled the battery out of my airtronics 6000 sport today to recycle it but the plug on the battery fits nothing that I have. any ideas on how to recycle this battery? anyway I can make it fit a standard plug without messing something up? thank you for any information.

If you can't discharge it through the charge jack you might want to just bypass the diode. Instructions at http://www.siriuselectronics.com/ Look for Diode sheets.

Otherwise you might try a male JST connector we use on park flyers. Check with your hobby shop to see it they have one that will fit.

the connector on the battery is the "old" Airtronics connector. Not the "Z" type.
