Quick battery question
For regular AA's in a 4 cell pack for reciver/servos.
1.2v 2500mah
or
1.5v 2000mah
Which would be better? The higher voltage with less mah or lover voltage with higher mah?

RE: Quick battery question
The higher voltage would be "better" for more power and speed, but the higher mah is "better for longer running.
In some instances the nickle batteries voltage during use will be higher than the alkalines (if that is what you meant by 1.5 and 2000mah) I am curious where you got the 2000 mah figure?

RE: Quick battery question
I read it off the batteries.
there are some cheap ***** batteries at the store accross the streat from me. I'm in need of decent/non expensive recharchables
as right now i'm just using duracells in my receiver battery holder. they suck and they are expensive.
my LSH wants 39 bux for a little batter pack with i think 1800 mah and no charger.
but for 34.99 i can get 4 rechargable AA's and a 3 hour quick charge. I think it is Energizer that makes it. (the 2500 1.2v ones)
and some new company making the 1.5v 2000mah one same thing, 4 batteries and a charger but for 39.99
All cdn prices.
edit: also, for $9.99 i can get an extra 4AA's for either so i can always have a set charging or one set for each of my rides.

RE: Quick battery question
That sounds good, the enrgizers will work fine. Nimh are usually around 1.2 when discharged and 1.4 when full, can you give a link or a brand name to the 1.5 volt ones? thanks, I am very curious (doubtful too)

RE: Quick battery question
Well, they were both 1.2v systems. yet still 2000 & 2500 respectivly.
Well that sucks... was probably gonna get the "1.5v ones"
And I got suckered into buy some stuff the g/f needed.

RE: Quick battery question
Ok, I thought perhaps you were finding some rechargeable alkalines which are not very good either. The best deal is 5 nimh cells x 2500 mah in AA size. I would like to find a 5 cell holder
