Hi.
I will need a new charger which will also charge LiPo cells, but I am a little confused on which charger to buy. I already have a U.I Profi charger that can charge four packs simultaneously, or a combination of charge, discharge, forming or a 21 day cycle. The thing about it is that it doesn't do LiPo's, and to have it sent in for a upgrade will cost almost as much as a new charger. I thought I should leave it be, and use it for NiCad and NiMh overnight charge in the hobby room, and get another one for field use.
I have had a look at the Schulze chargers, and they seem good, but I think they are less user friendly than many others (I don't like their menus). So if someone could recommend a good charger on which I can charge at least two packs on at the same time, and also crank up the amps. if needed it would be most appreciated.

gm72. The ICE looks very nice. It will definitely be considered when deciding. BUT I would really like a charger with two outputs, so I can charge both flight packs at the same time.
Thank you VERY much for the information.

Try the MRC Super Brain 977. AC/DC, nicd/nimh/li-ion/li-poly, dual outputs, can discharge, can charge 12 Volt gell cells, under $100.00 on e-bay or 110-120 or so in stores.

Do not get the Superbrain charger without checking into it first. The charger will not safely charge Li-Ions. Li-pos are questionable. The charger was advertised as being able to charge these packs, but the charger can't. There are several posts on the shortcomings of this charger. Basically, one charger does not charge them all.

Check out the e-Station 902. It is the top of the line 2 port charger by Bantam.
2 ports, 9.9 Amp charge rate, 32 cells nicad/nimh, 12 cells lipo/ion. Lost of features.

If you are looking for a 2 port charger than has some features, you are in this price range. The Shulz 6-330D is another good 2 port charger but is not the easiest to use and does not have the feature set the 902 does.
