Default Seeking Chargers

Hey, folks...

I just got an Emaxx, and its good to go, but I need a charger....Right now i'm using a makeshaft charger, created from an old makita cordless drill charger. So i'd like to find a "real charger"

So if anyone can help me, that would be great...

Peace

If you spend you money on a good charger your batteries will like you and last longer. You didn't specify your price range.

Hello DodgeMaxx and welcome to the forum.
Im gonna buy the Super Brain 977 myself because....
977 comes with a good power supply for about $ 95 and does all I need to do. Plus it charges 2 packs
at the same time. A good thing for E-maxx.
Ice is very good too , but no PS
Good luck in deciding !!

I am rocking the 977 too. Its good to see that this thing is finally getting a following. I was beginning to feel a little lonely. The problems with its predecessors the 959 (plagued with overheating) and the 969 (problem with li-po packs) have kept people from realizing how good of a unit the 977 is. It has every feature you could want for nitro R/C, including the ability to do 12 volt gell cell batteries.

kx250ryder,
Just a personal observation. Two bad chargers in a row makes me leary of this brand.

To an extent I agree. But look at the way MRC handled the 969 Pro problem. Anyone who had a complaint about the li-po algorithm, could send the charger in and get a free upgrade. I would be willing to wager that alot of companies would not have been so generous. You can argue that what they did is what they are supposed to do, and don't deserve credit for that, but I maintain that there are many companies who would have just left the consumer with the flawed product and no recoruse.

In theory I agree but try to tell somebody in California that Detroit still makes good cars. You can't even get them in the showroom. Anyway it was justa personal opinion and I'm not knocking your choice.

Detroit did make good automobiles. The problem is, they quite making them in Detroit. My Nissan Titan is more American than my Chevy S-10 was.
