Default Dual li poly batteries

I am building a plane with 2 brushless motors and would like to use 1 battery per motor. I am running a JR receiver and wonder if anyone knows the best way to do this. I am afraid that by plugging in 2 speed controls (one in throttle and one in Aux 2) I will distroy my receiver.

Default RE: Dual li poly batteries

Hey Chicken Hawk,
Only concern I would have is 2 BEC circuits powering the Rx in parallel, that can be avoided by just releasing the red wire from one ESC servo lead (Don't cut it off[X(]) heat shrink the pin and tape it back on it's self, that way only one ESC is powering the receiver.
You may hear from someone who has done this, and find that there is no problem using two (matched!) ESC's with the BEC circuits both connected. Other than that consideration, you are on the right track

Good Luck,

Pete
