I have recently become the owner of an ACE Digipace II. Trouble is I don't know how to run it! I have a set of instructions to a digipace III but it sure as heck don't work like that.
If anyone has the II instructions and a scanner and can email a copy to me it would be much appreciated.

Plug batteries in and hit the small black buttons to discharge
then it will go into the charge cycle all by it self. kinda simple.
it will tell you then how long of battery life you had left, thats
about it.

Question.
I have a very long discharge time it would appear by the discharge timer on my RX.
Over 83.1, minutes I think.
The battery is a futaba 4.8 600Mha.
Am I supposed to perform a calculation on the discharge, or is this think broken?
Thanks

That is telling you how many minutes you had left on your battery .. thats about it!
Sounds about right. I used to get about 90 mins on that size,
That was and still is a great old charger.

You have to perform the calculation converting time to mah.
The discharge rate on the digipace 1 is 300mah, thus the calculation is
Discharge time (83.1 minutes) / 60 minutes (to get hours) x 300mah = mah capacity (415.5) then the mah capacity(415.5) / pack rating (600mah) = 69.25% of rated capacity.
In your example, 83.1 / 60 = 1.385 x 300mah = 415.5 mah, 415.5 (actual) / 600 (rated) = 69.25% of rated capacity.
Cycle that pack 3 or 4 times from full charger and if it remains that low, then throw it away. :thumbdown

Good to know. I see some manufacturers publish what the discharge current is in other models. eg. 360ma., as well as cutoff voltages.
Does anyone have the specs on this unit?
Thanks again.
