Default Best cheap batteries out there?

Well Im looking to buy about 4 batteries. Im just looking for something with a long run time just for bashing in the yard with the son.
I seen some on ebay like 3800 GP cell pack for about 30,But just looking for people that actually use something and like them.
So what do you guys recomend?

the low priced ones are all to often very low C rated but if they'll provide the current you need for your application they'll be fine.

I'd say the pede can get away with generics/cheapoes. The e-maxx needs decent batts and gp cells are adequate.

I bought the Tenegy 3800's 4 packs were 66 bucks. If your unit dont pull heavy amps you will like them. If it pull big amps the batterys cant deal with it. I ran them in my buggy there fine but lack the hard punch of a race pack, last a long time. I tryed them in my boat and forget it, I burt up a set packs and the other set I figure I keep for looks. You can buy great packs from BattlePack for like 35 bucks you will be very happy you did. G/L

I've had good luck with these inexpensive batteries from Ebay. I bought them in a pair but they are slightly cheaper to buy 4.

Got the Radio Shack 3300 mah NiMH for $25.

It works fine in my used Stampede.

But I don't drive fast much so I don't know if it makes as much power as a more expensive battery.

Hi
Look at CheapBatteryPacks.com. I got a 4000mah 11.1v 10C for $48. It is not a high current battery only about 40A, but it is good for me. I will let you know if I have any problems with them. The battery is a PolyQuest.

I just got a radio shack 3300 mah battery for my lil ol bandit. Does great performance, I compared it to my 35.00 venom battery (3000mah). I will be racing with it. It does have that 1,2 PUNCH and last really long. I also have a birdman modified motor w/ itellispeed esc. So amps are important. That battery did great. Go to your local radio shack and spend that 25.00, well worth it IMHO.
