Default lipo charged on nicad setting

I made a mistake an charge my 1800 8c lipo on a nicad setting with the hobbico mk2 charger it only slightly puffed the batt an when i checked the voltage on it'it read 13.6 I went ahead an flew my plane for 5 min but don't know if i can trust it so i left it out side that was yesterday
is there any danger in ccontinuing using it

yes, a LiPo charger is set to turn off when it reaches XXX voltage, a NiCd/NiMh peaks a voltage and then drops (peak detection), your LiPo never gave a peak and you overcharged it, replace it and conceder it a lesson learned and be thankful you didn't start a fire with it.

I'd be far more concerned if it is a 2 cell battery than if it was a 3 cell.
