Default Breaking apart premaid 3500 Battery packs to make smaller?

I have (4) Tenergy 3500 8 cell packs with Deans that I would like to try and break down to 6 cell packs to run in my Stampede xl-5 or a FE boat such as SV-27. I have never tried this before. All sugestions are welcome,Thanks

Default RE: Breaking apart premaid 3500 Battery packs to make smaller?

I usually would break them apart between the bottom two rows (removeing the end two cells) and then use a regular battery bar to join the two rows of 3 cells back together. The original battery connector on the end of the pack is the weakest link anyways.
