Default Triton Charging Question

Hello,

I just got a new 6. 0 volt 1650 Mah battery pack and attempted to charge it using my Triton. Unfortunately I had the Triton set for Nicad charge (old habits die hard). I charged it about 7 hours at 0.2 amps. Could I have done any damage to the battery pack?

Thanks

Default RE: Triton Charging Question

Probably not as 200 ma for 7 hrs = 1400 mah and if the battery was dead then you didn't overfill it. It might even do it good to break it in to go another 7 hrs and it will not hurt it. The Triton will probably stop (normal peak detection) before the 7 hrs is up anyways.
