Default Alpha 4 charger.... Is it still a good charger?

I have a Alpha 4 charger, and I'm kind of wondering if it's worth keeping. With all the new Lipos, NiMh etc... is there still a good use for this charger? There was a time not too long ago when people where waiting months and months to get their Alpha 4.....

If you are only involved with NiCds and NiMh, I think that it's one of the best. I use mine every week of the year down here in sunny Tucson. I even use it on my Wet cells.

However, if you're gonna mess with Lipos, then you are gonna need something different. And for that, I keep an Elite on standby, but I still love that Alpha !

There is no better charger than the Alpha 4 for maintaining your Ni-Cd transmitter and flight packs.

I have 10 of them in use 365/24. I would buy another if the price was right. You rarely see one on eBay!

I used the "I" function for NiMh.

Program your NiMh's exactly like your NiCd's, and select Indefinite, C-10, Trickle.
