I store mine in an ammo can in my garage. The experts say to lower the voltage to 40% of capacity which is ~3.75 volts. I don't think for a month or so it's really an issue though. 3 months or longer than sure.

For long term storage of LiPo or Ni systems I keep them in my shop refrigerator at about 38ºF. This is if I'm not going to be using them in the next month or so. Tupperware type containers keeps them dry.

I've stored mine in a fridge. You should try keeping them in an airtight container to keep moisture out of the batteries. I put mine in a ziploc.
