Alpha4 Question Case Open
 

I have an old Alpha4. I heard a rattle in the case and opened it. Found a loose part. Anyway the touch pad ribbon cable came loose before I had a chance to see how it was installed. It appears that it has a ribbon cable that is held in place by a piece of wood that has foil on one side .

Anyway I cannot get the ribbon cable on properly and was hoping that someone might know how to put it together properly. I do get the Alpha4 startup screens but cannot get the touch panel to work.

PS. I did try to contact Litco by email, per their instructions prior to opening the case. Never did get an answer and I cannot find a phone number for them, anybody got one? TIA

I seem to remember someone posting the "innards" of the Alpha here somewhere. Not sure what you'd search on, but maybe if you find it, you can see how it goes back together.
