Difference between 7.2v and .cell batteries

I'm wondering, there's a 7.2v 3000 battery pack and a 6 or 7 cell 3000 battery pack. What's the difference? Is a 7.2v the same as a 6 or 7 cell battery?

a 7.2 is considered a 6 cell

( 1.2 volts per cell)

7 cell is 8.4
