Help me

I let my 3 cell 1500 lipo (kokam) sit in my basement for 6 months,. It was fully charged at the time. I tried charging it last night with a triton charger BUT no matter what setting I use on the triton; I get tis message accompanied by a beep. "Battery V. too low". What is wrong?

Try setting your Triton to 2 cells and see if that works. The voltage should start coming up when it reaches 9 volts STOP and reset to 3 cells and continue charging.

Then maybe it just decided to give up flying.

If you have a voltmeter did you try measuring the voltage first to see what it was? If it was below 7.5 it has probably bought the farm - as in DEAD!

Download this to confirm expanding poly batteries is a big warning sign...

[X(] One of brothers friends managed to spot that his lithium-poly battery was in the process of expanding, luckily didn't leave the house unattended whilst charging.
