sticky please!

How about a sticky on form charging new NiMh packs?
JNorton is getting RSI typing the same stuff every day right John?!

RE: sticky please!

I think I started a dumb thread about forming charge at varying rates and multipliers, but it died. There really isn't much to say about it.

I'm not sure what you mean!! Nothing dumb on your part, my suggestion certainly wasn't related to your thread U-dUd, it's just that almost every day someone comes up with a question about forming NiMh - and sometime NiCds for that matter.

It's almost as 'hot' as frying LiPos.....

Ya, I know. I didn't take it that way, actually we are in agreement. A person asks if and how to form, someone answers and the thread dies. If I had time and skills I would do a nice write-up of chargeing basics, but the info is out there and very easy to find.

I usually use the search first and scour the web for research, some users simply ask,,, two different ways of doing research I guess

I thought perhaps my thread would would spark some questions, disagreements, debates and some more thought on the subject, but it died quickly.

Actually someone did write about the basic's. Red did under Basic NiCd Stuff. :) Just too many people find it a lot easier to ask a specific question than goto a site and read.

John

Sure has been a lot of questions lately about forming packs though. :)

EDIT-> I nominate Red to write it. [sm=thumbup.gif]
