Types of NIMH batteries

At NICD batteries,
there are plenty of battery types
each has it's own specification (low temp, low resistence, fast charge...)

What about NIMH?
I want to buy a 9.6v AA pack
but usualy battery type is not mentioned.
How can i know if it is a fast charge type?
(i need at least 15A for my graupner 480 bb motor)

I have not found any NiMh battery manufacturer who says that anything more than 1.5 C can safely be used as a fast charge rate. Some people are getting by with going to 2C but risk ruining their battery pack. If anyone has found a manufacturer who says more, please inform us.

don't think nickel metal's are going to give you that much current!! stick to nicads.

The biggest pack I have seen is a 4000maH Nicad. At 15amps this gives about 15 minutes of flying time. That is a lot of juice for a motor/battery to take. I will have to agree, stick with NiCad's or gelcells.

Thanks all,
But still, I'm confused.
I have a GP Fundango,
and with 700mah battery it
gives about 3 minutes of flying time...

Someone told me he is using successfully a 1600nimh AA size
on his fundango.

How does it settles with nimh type which is known to be
used in a low current application?
