6V Rx Pack
What are you guys using to charge your 6V Rx packs? Walwarts are rated at 4.8V, even though they get the 4 cell pack up to about 5.2V, they probably aren't enough for a 5-cell pack. I haven't actually measured the output on one yet though.

RE: 6V Rx Pack
AccuCycle Elite, It charges everything I own, transmitters, reciever packs, lipos, even my glow driver. Its simple to operate, has two outputs that can be doing two different things at the same time, and will at some point in your life find a bad pack that will make the charger pay for itself.

RE: 6V Rx Pack
I have tested my JR wall wart chargers designed for 4-cell RX packs. They work fine on the 5-cell packs, but take longer. A typical wall wart is designed to output 50 mA for a 4-cell pack, but only outputs 35mA when connected to a 5-cell pack. So allow some extra time.

Hi!
We use our old 4,8V wall chargers! ...they work OK for 6 volt too...been using my 31 year old Futaba 4,8V wallcharger to charge my 6volt NiMH batteries for decades... |
RE: 6V Rx Pack
ORIGINAL: jaka 6volt NiMH batteries for decades... I use the Hobbico Accu-Cycle Elite to charge all my 6V Rx packs and 7.2V ignition packs. It even "smart" charges the single-cell 1.2V glow driver battery. |
