Another Ignition Switch Question
 

I have another question about ignition switches. I am using a Jomar Optical cut-off swith. I can charge thru the swith, but can not read the voltage with my meter. Would it be better to put a Y connector between the battery and optical switch or add an extra set of leads to the battery for charging and reading voltage only?
Would these extra leads affect the Ni-Mh battery in any way?

ether way will work just fine and no the extra leads won't change a thing
