Triton - (Error) Input Voltage
When I try to charge a 6-cell 1300mAh NICD pack at 4.0 or 4.5 A, I get an Input Voltage error.
I've lowered the value to 3.0A and the charging process completed successfully. I'm using a PC Power Supply to power my Triton. In the Data View Menu, the input is 11.75V. The power supply is rated +12V, 8A. I've shorted an orange and a red wire (so that the fan always runs). I've connected a hard drive and a CD-ROM to the power supply. PS Yellow cable to Triton's red cable (+) PS Black cable to Triton's black cable (-). Thanks |

Triton - (Error) Input Voltage
Hey Red.
That was neat how you cleverly hid your answer within the quote. :) mxclouti - Perhaps you could put a voltmeter on your power supply and see what it is doing when you try higher charge currents. Rob |
