Lipo Balancer, how does it work??

How does inline balancers Avionics balancer work?

How does this effect your charger? If the avionics balancer is regulating the amps, then how does your main charger know how many amps to put in?

too professional.

understanding how to use is enough, is it?

Send link to manual
Most LiPO charge at CV with CC limit. So when voltage meant and current low they STOP
Most chargers do not care how long, but some have safty limits it's all in the details and fine print in spec's.

RE: Lipo Balancer, how does it work??

well it all depends on the sink ratio of the balancer vs the capacity of the pack vs the charge rate vs how much the pack is out of balance

for example if you had a balancer that sunk 120mA of current, and a pack that was 1200mAh, and a charge rate of 1.2A or 1C, then you would be looking at up to 120mAh of extra current, or up to 110% charge on that pack because it is a 1 hour charge, if it was a 2 hour charge it could be up to 20%. I find that my balancer sinks about 1/2 of what it's rated at, so on avergage in 1 hour it sinks 60mA, and it is capable of 120mA

All in all what richrd said is right. They work on a CC CV and the capacity in amps is more of a failsafe mechanism rather than a charge termination mechanism
