Thunder Power or Hyperion and what model?

Ive basically narrowed down my choices to either thunder power or hyperion. (unless someone shouts out otherwise )

The hard part is deciding how much cash to throw down (always is isnt it)

I am fairly new to the hobby (as in RC ) and like it but dont know how far its going to go.

Would you guys shell out the cash for either the hyperion 610 duo or the tp-1010

or should I go with the

Hyperion 610 net / Tp 610C

Im just wondering about opinions here.

I can see myself going to a bigger chopper but I'll probably switch to nitro when that happens.

Is there lots of time in the field you wish you had duel chargers???

Im just unsure of what to get as I have just spun up my rotor blades so far on my hbk2 and thats it.

Let me know,

DL

RE: Thunder Power or Hyperion and what model?

The 1010 is an excellent charger. Downside is that it is older technology in that new models for the past several years now have built in balancers where the 1010 requires an external balancer. It is still a good unit.

The Hyperion Duo is limited to 6S per side compared to the 10S capability of the 1010.

The Hyperion 610i is 250 watt charger but like the Duo, no discharge capability. If you are considering the Hyperion 610i, then you should consider the e-Station BC6-10.

At the moment there is nothing out there like Duo. It is unique (for the moment :) )
