New battery sugestion??
 

Hey, i want to buy a new battery, at the moment i only have a 7.2v 1800mah ni-cd which came with my truck. I want to buy around 3500mah ni-mh. The charger im using is just the charger i got with my truck, which charges 7.2v 1800mah ni-cd. If i bought 7.2v 3500mah ni-mh would i have to use a different charger or use the one i have now?

Where can i get the cheapest batteries which are around 3500mah? (preferably Australia)

Is this venom battery a good battery to buy?

All very interesting and basic questions however they are about Ni batteries and this is the A123 Racing (LiFePO4) battery support forum.

You would need a different charger. Nicds and NiMH require either different chargers or a chargerwhich can be set for different type batteries also a higher capacity battery would require a higher charge rate or much longer to charge.
