Battery Cycler - Hobbico Accu-Cycle or Great Planes ElectriFly Triton2?

Due to life in general, I've not flown for almost a year but will be getting back to the field this summer. I've turned on a few of my planes and my Tx to run them down and charge them now and again but I'd like to get a proper battery cycler to condition my packs when I won't get to the field often enough to cycle them with regular use. Curious if either of these would be better for this use?

Hobbico Accu-Cycle Elite Battery Cycler

Looks like they both have an optional temp probe as well.

Appreciate any input!

The chargers you mention have very little discharge power. What you should consider is the West Mountain Radio CBA-II.

No serious modeler should be without one. It is the best battery insurance you can buy. Know what your battery is doing and stop guessing.

somegeek: What size and type of batteries do you have (now and expect to have in the future)?

Mostly NiMh and NiCd Rx and Tx packs now - 150mAh to 1600mAh. A few 3s1p 1700mAh lipo packs and a few 3000mAh NiMh car packs. This cycler would be primarily for my Rx and Tx packs.

I have been using the Accu_Cycle Elite for a couple of years. TX and RX, nicads and nimh in the range (voltage and mah) you have. I have also used it with 2 cell 1000 mah Lipos. It works as advertised. The ten memory function is very useful.

Don't know about the others.

Somegeek,
I have a Triton and love it.
However, for the same price as the one you showed they have the EQ AC/DC Charger.
This will charge and balance up to 6 LiPo, LiIon, LiFe batteries.
It also has a built in AC power supply.
Look it over.
Good Luck,
