Default Bought my first house AND bought/flew my first plane today

Afterrecieving word today that my offer on a house and 3 acres was accepted, I ended up finding a good deal on an Apprentice 15e. After much (and I mean MUCH) nervousness, I took it to the soccer fields and flew it. Now I ride a motorcycle almost everywhere (sport bike) and I ride it quite aggressively, but nothing can compare to the adrenaline rush I got when that plane left the ground. All went well. Apparently the PhoenixRC I've had for the past 8 months actually works. Did 3 take offs and, obviously, landings. First 2 landings were ok but a little rough, but the third one was flawless. Good times.

-Are there bigger wheels that I can put on the Apprentice? The grass at the soccer fields is short but extremely thick so while the plane could land on it, I had to use the roads for take off.

Yes, I recently put 3" on mine and they work great on our grass strip.

There are also some 3" or larger with foam tires. Very light and work well.

Oh, I forgot, Congrats on the new home!!!!!!!!! Can't tell you how great it is to not be paying someone Else's mortgage for them and being able to paint it any color you want inside and out. Well, maybe not out, my HOA has a few problems with things like that!! My last home I had one of those big tough sheds built out back then wired and insulated it myself. Added heat and air, the perfect shop for model building!! Just food for thought in the future.

Welcome to the addiction Sigma. I too rode a sport bike, GSXR 750, and more recently A Kawasaki Vulcan Mean Streak 1600cc. I bought that bike new in 2007. I sold it in 2012 with 2200 miles on it... guess what I did whenever the weather was nice enough to ride

Congrats on the house... I also know that rush is pretty good too.
