Hitec HS-5245MG?
Hi,
On my Reactor Bipe, I have 3010 Servos on the ailerons. Its overweight and I want it to lose some. The manual recommends mini servos- Futaba 9650s but those are a bit more expensive and have nylon gears. I was considering Hitec 5245MG. Anyone know about these servos and their performance? Or should I go for some others?

I also have several and no problems.
Hey GB I didn't see you on line yesterday, you were out flying weren't you I got my glider up in our hay field yesterday. Didn't feel like driving to the club field. 60 acre field great for the glider.

I am asking about this servo in particular. In my current case, it doesnt save too much weight- each is 32g (3010 is 41g), so toatl saving for all four servos is just 36g which is nothing for an airplane that weighs 3.6kg. But, I will keep an eye on these for future builds if they are good

this is a very common servo to use in high performance 3d electrics in the 60" size. I have them in my 57" 3d hobbyshop electric extra and they are fabulous. I set the bec to 6.0V and let them rip. Great servo.
