Default Horizon Sport Cub S-2 Question for anyone

Hi all,
Newbie here to RC planes and this forum.
I just got a Horizon Sport Cub S-2 beginner Airplane and am not sure if there is an issue or not and can't find any info so far.
What I noticed is that after I turn "off" the Transmitter, I can hear the motor the rudders and Ailerons still kind of twitching and moving
around. Is this normal for this RC plane?

Any info is greatly appreciated, I just want to make sure nothing is wrong with it so I can return if needed.

You don't turn the transmitter off before the receiver.

Yes, that's probably normal. That plane has the SAFE device, which is going to respond to every tiny air current and change in position that it senses. So even with the transmitter off, it will still try to stabilize the plane.

And I'll second BarracudaHockey's advice- always unplug the battery from your plane first.
