Spektrum Radio Locked Up
#1

I'm new to computerized transmitters and recently obtained a Spektrum DX6e that I'm trying to set up. Unfortunately, while trying to follow various You Tube videos and playing around with the mode slide on the rear of the transmitter, I've managed to lock the thing up. All I can now get on the screen is "WARNING throttle high" and nothing else when I turn the scroll wheel or press any buttons/switches. Does anyone know the way out of this problem or how to return the radio to factory settings? I do have an E-mail out to Horizon Hobbies on this but have received no response.

I don't think it is locked up. My DX8G2 does that sometimes, for certain model setups, and it is a safety feature, so that when your engine or motor starts, it starts at low throttle.
I imagine if you lower the throttle stick, the warning will disappear, and your transmitter will operate normally.
Some others will come along and hopefully explain it better, add more information, or tell me I am completely wrong - lol.
edited: I just verified that lowering the throttle stick will turn off that warning, and then it functions normally.
