Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone keeps a log of their flights and all the info that can be gotten from them. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I was basically wondering if their is an excel document or a computer program that can be used to do this.

If you want something simple/cheap for a handheld, try Modeler's Logbook at :-

I just use a small notebook, they are cheap and you can get them anywhere!
I log every thing . model when it was built, any mod's I made, first flight, # of flights, date & time, prop size, rpm, fuel type and oil/nitro content, glow plug. and a short memo of that days flights. I can tell you everything about every plane and flight I have ever had. make a great reference guide!

From: gone,
I used to try to log my flights with each airplane... but I had a BAD time learning so my logbook looked like:
Aricraft 1 first flight: takeoff 10:02 6/6/76, crashed 10:03 totaled.
Aircraft 2 first flight: takeoff 10:30 7/7/76, crashed 10:33 totaled.
(ad infinitum... :P)
I quit trying to log flights... I suddenly didn't break em as fast. So I consider a logbook a jinx.

From: Laurel, MD,
I wanted to keep a log, but I never remember to do it. I do try to keep a notepad in my TX case, and note problems that need to be corrected at the shop. However, when I'm in my "getting ready for a contest" mode, I'll take a lot more notes at the field, but them I'm often trying to trim and dial in 6+ planes all at once, and I can't do that in my head

Make sure you keep a log account of your batteries. I log my batteries and when I purchase major items. I also always write on the battery the date I start using it. Then on my tx I put a label with the date the battery was
put into service.
put into service.
