Default GMS engines

Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about these engines? they seem very reasonable.

Go over to the engine forum. I started a thread when I got my GMS .47. Got lots of both from everybody.

Search for GMS .47 Engine.

I read they are supposed to be good engines. I have never had one. I agree with the above poster. Check the engines section, should have all the info you need.

BTW they are supposed to be quite strong runners.

I have a GMS 47 and really like it, very powerful with good transition
and idle, no probs.
I also broke in and setup a .61 for a friend and it's doing great also.

I only know of one person running a GMS engine. He said that it required a very thorough and careful break in, but is happy with it's power and performance now.

Above is the thread I was telling you about. Give it a read.

Throughout this forum and the glow engine forum I have seen both good and bad said about GMS engines. There is even a thread somewhere that is titled "GMS = JUNK".

I believe that they are very good engines as most of what I have seen is positive. I just got mine installed last Sunday, but have yet to run it as $$$$ are very short around my place.

Good luck with your engine.

Excellent engine for the price and then some. Get one with the "Tower-tuned-$15" muffler and it will scream. Mine was easy to break in and tuned.
