Default Aerofly Professional Deluxe USB

Hello,
I was just wondering if the Aerofly Professional Deluxe USB flight sim comes with a transmitter or do i have to spend another hundred for my own. And, by the way, did anyone use this flight sim and actually saw the differences in their skills. If so, please mention some positive feedback on your story to boost my confidence in the aerofly. Looks like a a kick-ass product.
Thanks

The Aerofly Professional Deluxe USB Interface Version $169.95 comes
with an interface to be able to connect to your own transmitter. And
the Aerofly Professional Deluxe USB Commander Version $209.95
comes with a controller no transmitter needed. I have the Original
AeroFly Pro interface version which I connect to my own radio and it
has helped me a lot in flying my plane and in learning 3D!! I did not
think it would help me enough to out weight the cost!! But it has!!
And yes knowing what I know now... I would buy it again!! Another
thing... You can fly anytime you want:-)

Samolot,

If you decide to purchase Realflight G2, I would be happy to sell you mine cheaply including Add-ons 3,4,&5.

That Said, if you are serious about learning to fly better and be able to do aerobatics with your simulator, it would be a mistake to purchase Realflight, any version of it.

I have them both and like I said, I will happily sell you Realflight G2 including the USB controller and Add-ons 3,4,5. for $150.00 + shipping. Shipping would probably be about $6.00 to $8.00.

The Controller was just remanufactured and is in like new condition.

P.S If anyone else would be interested in Realflight G2 with USB controller and Add-ons 3,4,&5 please let me know.

Realflight is a great simulator for a beginner. With some effort it can be adjusted to do some 3d flying.
Someone who wants out of the box 3d performance will want to go with AeroflyPro Deluxe.

Hi Samolot, check out the [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/Flight_Simulator_Software/forumid_138/tt.htm]flight simulator forum[/link] here on RCU for what people are saying about G3 and AFPD. IMO if your fairly new to the hobby and looking for a package to help you learn basic flying then either G3 or AFPD will help. However AFPD is cheaper than G3 and seems many people are fed up with the customer service when trying to upgrade from G2 to G3 recently.

I think you would make a huge mistake buying G2 if you think you will want to upgrade to G3 sometime in the near future. People are trying to sell G2 for the best price they can get as Great planes are only giving a $50 rebate if they send them their old G2 simulator. also alot of people that have bought G3 are selling it to buy AFPD as it is by far a better simulator. Take a look in the flight simulator forums and see what people are saying about what the sims out there now and check out the pictures and video of AFPD

Hi Samolot,

The controller is the standard USB Interlink controller that comes with the Realflight simulator.
It includes the connection to be able to connect and use a functional transmitter.
Since the controller is made by Futaba it is a quality product that stands on its own.

I do agree with others reguarding AeroflyPro and AeroflyPro Deluxe but not Realflight.

Reguarding my previous statements about Realflight I'll stick with them.

I have also run an add here on RCuniverse in which I have requested $160.00 but I am willing to be flexible on that.

Still I believe the value of the simulator is worth more to some. It does include Add-Ons 3, 4, and 5.

I personally prefer AeroflyPro and plan to have Deluxe. Realflight has been useful and fun but I now want more out of my flight simulator straight out of the box. One thing Realflight has that AeroflyPro does not have is the ability to go online and fly and chat with other simulator flyers.

Happy Christmas wishes to you, and I hope your final choice is one that will keep you flying happily for a good while.

Sincerely Clark

Hi Gaspasser,
I have only seen the non-USB Aerofly Game controller advertised separately.
It is listed at the URL inserted below, at a cost of $49.00 before shipping.
http://www.helihobby.com/html/aerofl...simulator.html

Comparative info:

$149.99 Original AFP Simulator price
$ 79.95 Upgrade without Controller price
$ 4.95 Shipping
$ 49.00 Non USB Game Commander Controller found elseware
-----------------
$283.89 Plus shipping charges for game commander = ?

If the current AFP discounted price had been paid:
$109.95 Currently lowered price for AFPD
$ 79.95 Upgrade to Deluxe price charged
$ 14.95 Shipping
-----------------
$204.85 Without Game Commander.
$253.85 With Game Commander before shipping $.

Current Price:
$ 209.95 for AeroflyPro Deluxe With Game Commander.

I love these product names. Not only is it the professional version, but it's deluxe as well! What exactly makes it professional?

I guess the next version will be Aerofly Professional Deluxe Xtreme!!!!

CafeenMan,

That question may best be answered by someone more qualified than I, however there is some talk about the software being connected with official pilot training in some way.

I am looking at Aerofly Pro Deluxe because realflight leaves it's customers out in the cold trying to get there junk product to work.
Case in point they use copy protection to make sure you can't back your software, fair enough everyone does that. They have a serial # , they have a serial # on the interface.
Then you cant install the add ons if you have Windows XP with SP2 because of compatability isues I am a registered owener of G2 and G3 and since G3 did not support Heli's I used both had to uninstall SP2 and all the addons had to be installed for both G2 and G3 then reinstall SP2. Have to have both interfaces installed to play them. realflight rushed G3 to market months before it was ready with no support just to make a buck.and now they say G2 owners are officialy unsupported. Aerofly looks like it is a better product all the around especially since it has some free 600 downloads.[&o]

Hi Dserratt,

Is that short for Desert Rat! ? LOL.

I still believe that Aerofly Pro Deluxe is one of the best simulators available.
I personally like some of its features better than any other simulator.
Reflex XTR is its primary competition I think.
For flying Airplanes I personally feel that AeroflyPro Deluxe is best.
For flying Helecopters many prefer Reflex XTR.

I no longer use RealFlight myself, but I enjoyed it before I became aware of AeroflyPro.
