Hey guys,
i am wanting to buy a park flyer so i can just go up the the local park and have a fly after work and what not. But alot of park flyers seem to be Electric, and electric seems to be quite expensive to get into plus ive just bought all the gear i need for a gas engine on my big trainer. If i were to buy a GWS Zero fighter kinda thing that is ment to be electric, do you think it would be possible to mount a .15 engine on it?

No.
A GWS Zero, in fact all of their planes, are meant to fly with tiny electric motors. These planes are too small for an 0.049, so a 0.15 is at least 20 times too much power.
Secondly, flying anything with a glow engine at a local park is definitely not a good idea. Small doesn't mean it isn't dangerous, but small electric park flyers are less dangerous due to much lower weight.

Actually over in 1/2A, a LOT of guys have put .049-.061 engines on GWS planes..but DB is right a .15 is way overpowered.probably just pull off the foam even if you could balance the plane, a few of the Wattage bipeplanes have been done with a .15,,but they fly FAST, there is a thread there now where the guy thought the wings would fold up with his gws stick with an .061, but it flew best when it ran out of fuel and another guy has an .020 on his and it flys fine...Rog

All GWS planes come with motors...all you need to supply are the rx, servos, batts. However, the included motor is woefully
underpowered. Unless you put in a small AXI or Parkzone 370 brushless. I have a few GWS models and they fly with stock motors.
They will fly but not with great authority. I am throwing in a 370 brushless gearbox combo in my GWS Corsair.
