Default Skyshark Fantasy deflections

Hi guys. Looking for some info and advise. Posted on the Kit Building forum but no luck. Search turns up nothing.

Picked up a used SkyShark Fantasy in such a way that I don't have the recommended deflections, and I just finished chaging out the pushrods. The manual says get them from the plans, which I don't have. Anyone help me out?

Email them. Every email I sent them gets replied too within 24 hours. They even sent me specific pics that I had asked for.

Wrote to Shyshark R/C on Sunday and in just a few hours got a response from Mike Gray. He wrote,

"The control throws are as follows:

Aileron: 1/4" up and down
Elevator: 1/2" up and down
Rudder: 1-1/4" left and right.

If this is the old version of the Fantasty, be careful of flutter in the tail. When we acquired the design, we strengthened the tail formers to eliminate the twist that was happening.

Mike Grey
Skyshark R/C"

Nice support. Even added some technical advise. Speaking of, anyone know how I could strengthen the tail formers, if it seams needed. Would imagine it's possible if I pull the covering off the turtledeck.?

If the pushrods are the "Tube in a tube" type, you could just cut a small hole in the bottom of the tail and squirt in a few shots of spray foam insulation. Just be sure that there's nothing back there that will get gummed up by it.

thanks Minn, that's my kind of fix. I think that will work for my plane.
