Default Thanks!!

I just wanted to say thanks, and let everyone know how much I've appreciated all the help & good advice I've gotten here on RCU.
It has been a challenging last 4 months for me. I've had 3 surgeries since Sep 19th, being out of work & recovering from them has been a B*&^%!! Having RCU to log on to has been a great way for me to put it out of my mind & learn more about these planes I love.
Everyone I've met in here have been a huge help to me. RcKen, MinnFlyer, Bubbagtes, Bruce, & Britbrat just to name a few, have taught me alot & made these recovery months much easier for me to deal with. I'm on the mend & allmost human again. I'll be getting back to work in a week or so, (I think)[sm=drowning.gif]. With that in mind it occured to me that I won't be on here rambling on the way you've become accustomed to [8D] nearly as much. So I thought I would let ya know that I haven't left the Hobby or anything like that, just rejoining the real world again. I'll still be checking in as often as I can. Again, thanks alot for all the help!

allmost human again
Not if you are into this hobby, there is no way you are human... well maybe human but defintely not wrapped to tight. Trust me on this one. I lost all sense of reality once I started doing this and there wasn't much to lose in the first place

Just kidding, glad to hear your starting to feel better [sm=thumbup.gif]

Aw Man....!

You reminded me that my season starts in a week or 2. DAMN! Godspeed in your continued recovery. Remember, we work to live, not live to work.

As far as being human: (queue the music...something soft and poetic, or heck...OZZY!)

We, in this earthly endeavor, are all just poorly conceived birds of prey, soaring vicariously through radio waves and balsa. We fly, almost effortlessly above ourselves, ...with one... common dream....

NOT TO CRASH THE FRIGGIN AIRPLANE!

See ya around man!

Agreed on that! The old Avistar seemed to fly better after 3 crashes and a whole bunch of glue and patches. It snap rolls faster than the Ultra Stick .60 with a .61 FX on high rates Except one of my friends Xtra Easy II with a Easy Fly 40 wing...seems to fly not so good even after 15 years and like 1,000,000 crashes. Hope your recovery goes well!

Snow blowers are a wonderful thing. I just did my parking area and driveway in 30 minutes and that's moving 14 friggin inches of snow. Sure does look pretty outside though

At least a Stent is easily done, via catheter. I had one (two) done several years ago. Pain on monday, Echo-Cardiogram on Tuesday, Catheter on Wednesday (diagnosed the problem) Stent on Thursday, home on Friday, excercise on Monday, flying on the weekend.

Best of luck, though.. Grumpy!

I currently have 5 Stents in. 4 in different area's of my heart and 1 in the vain where they ran the cath. It collapsed on the second round of installing stents. That was weird when over the period of a week my leg kept getting more numb. [:'(] then the pain kicked in. [X(]

If feel for ya Marc.....

What is this? Who has the most stents? Sickos!!! Just try to focus on what is really important will you? Tomorrow is Friday. Ken's day, sort of.

You were hoping we had forgot weren't you Ken? [:'(]

BTW - I've got ZERO stents or is it zero sense. Gonna have to ask the ol' lady again. [sm=bananahead.gif][sm=bananahead.gif]

I see I'm not the only one paying for a miss-spent youth!lol All those years of being 10 ft tall & bullet-proof are paying back in spades now. Not too worried about the stent part, sounds like I'm in for 2 of those, it's the one they can't stent that has me wondering. We'll know more in a couple hours though. Going to Stockton @ 4:30 to see what the gameplan is. Either way, like I said more time to play airplane so it looks like you're all stuck with me a little longer. [8D]

Hang in there & get well. I've had a heart-attack & a stroke -- didn't like either one very much. Hope you avoid both.

Good Luck[sm=thumbup.gif]
