Default Need help: Mounting Saito 82 inverted

I have purchased Saito 82 to use in H-9 P-51 PTS ARF. I would like to mount this engine inverted. Center line of fuel tank will be higher than spray bar. I can not modify location of fuel tank.

What do I have to do so that engine will start & run reliably.

Thanks for your help

I have mounted that engine inverted and as long as it's not an inch or more it will be fine. Just make sure the fuel line loops above the tank level on the way to the carb to keep it from draining out downhill.

Many people have recommended pumps and the like in the past, but I think you will be fine with that engine inverted. The simpler the better.

Good Luck!
