New to RC: What does it mean when a transmitter is gold sticker-ed?
Thanks,

complies with narrow band Freq Requlations

Radios were marked as gold stickered during the transistion period between wide band and narrow band. All radios todat in the US are narrow band.

I would think any radio that is marked gold stickered would be rather old. I'm not saying obsolete just old.

Kirk,
Actually I live on Lake Claiborne near the dam, but my zip is Homer. I've had this place for several years as a week end house, and I retired this last June and moved here from Crossett, AR. Wish I could find someone close by with some experience in RC. I just got a Aerobird in, but I don't want to crash it the first day. I want to get some kind of simulator to use before I carry the plane out by myself. Is you dad into RC?
When and if I get good at flying the RC planes, I want a float plane, would be handy living on the lake.
If you are ever in the neighborhood, drop by.
