You might try here:
http://www.radiocontrolmodels.co.uk/...s_frameset.htm
Can you buy from the U.S.?

DO you have a particular reason for a 3-blade prop? They are less efficient than a 2-blade.

Here in the States I go through www Hobby- Lobby .com. to get GRAUPNER 3 bladed props. They are German made so you should be able to get them over there some place. Try a search for Graupner and see what happens.

Now I'll ask the same question as bruce 88123. Why a 3 bladed prop ??? Like he said the 2 bladed is more efficient.

ENJOY !!! RED

Too small of diameter. I'm running an Enya 60 and Thunder Tiger 61 with 11x7 and 11x8 MAS. Just as much pull as when I
was using 2 blades if you test the correct dia. and pitch.

general rule for 3 blade prop size:: 12X8 2 blade becomes an 11X9 three blade.
in other words for about the same performance decrease diameter one size increase pitch one degree.
with that said I agree with Husker Boy, too small a prop for a .61...... smallest i'd go is 11X7

When I had a Thunder Tiger 61 on my trainer, a 12x6 two blade performed well.
The 'load factor' in ThrustHP for a 12x6 two blade is 124416
The 'load factor' for a 10x8.3 three blade is 124500
In theory the engine should turn pretty close to the same rpm with either prop.
Using the numbrs from ThrustHP, you do lose almost 3 pounds of static thrust by going to the small diameter three blade prop.

rickburnout666,
Use ThrustHP to compare how the different props compare with each other. This is a great little program for playing these "what if" comparisons.

Hope this helps

Why use a three blade in place of a two blade prop?
well... ground clearance can be one reason.

I flew a Ace sport T-34 for years but I had a OS 70 in it and the 2 blade prop wouldnt clear the ground so I went to a three blade.
talk about torque! it looked neato too

Hi!
If you switch to 3-blade(which isn't good due to it being inferior performance wise to a 2 blade) from a let say a 12x6 2 blade then you choose a 11x6-blade. Go down one size in diameter and keep the pitch.
A 12x6 APC or RAM is a good 2 blade prop to start with for most high and low winged sport airplanes. Can't understand why you want an inferior prop on your plane??[X(]

It might not be good due to inferior performance , but its what i want for my build, just for looks,as I said in an earlier post, and then you would understand why I want an inferior prop on my build?? so i need to know the best 10" prop with what pitch would give the best power/thrust ???

The link in Ken's post is to a zip file that you need to download, unzip, and install.

Here's another site with a download link. Most likely this one is the same.
http://www.hoppenbrouwer-home.nl/ika...rusthpv20d.htm

The variety of three blade props is small. The 10x8.3 is the highest pitch I was able to find in a 10 inch diameter.

Find a neighborhood teenager and ask him/her to download and install it. It only takes a couple of minutes, and many in the younger generation are very good on computers.

Hi!
Well, on a .61 two stroke using a standard silencer, a 10x8 or 10x9 would be my choice. Even a 10x10 APC could be used. But remember that these props will not be as good as a 12x6 or 13x5 APC two blade.
I don't even know if APC makes those sizes and MA props or Graupner grey one's aren't that good.

3-blade props could be as good as 2-blade props but then you have to make them your self in carbon fiber (see picture)
