Is It Safe To Use Bondo Autobody Filler On Abs Plastic

Default Is It Safe To Use Bondo Autobody Filler On Abs Plastic

NEWBIE, PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION FOR ME EXPERTS ON RC AIRCRAFT BODY FINISHING, IS IT SAFE TO USE BONDO (AUTOBODY FILLER) TO FILL UNEVEN AREAS ON ABS PLASTIC COWLS, I THOUGHT I'D GET SOME INPUT FIRST RATHER THAN FINDING OUT THE BAD WAY, APPRECIATE ANYONE'S INPUTS.

"BONDO" is OK for filler. The down side is that is comes in large quantities.

I have been using "Squadron" putty that comes in a small tube and works well, sands easily, although it requires a couple of applications. I found that a tube is enough for several planes. I have been very satisfied with Squadron.
