Default Sorry folks.. bad day.

Sorry for the diatribe in my reply last week. Yep, I was probably having a bad day and let my mood affect my attitude on RCU. No excuses, folks.. just in a bad mood and I really ought to watch that, especially when I am here on RCU. There are to many good folks here to insult like I did and it won't happen again, I assure you.

There are times when someone will reply, very nicely as in this case, to warn people like me that they are a bit out of line instead of getting all over a person for it, and I appreciate that. I was a tad bit embarrassed. Thanks for understanding.

CGr.

I don't know what initiated this, but very 'stand-upish' of you. It takes a big man to admit something like this.
No apology needed, in my opinion, because I'm sure there was no offense intended.

Hmmm , I must have missed that one . Either that or you are going to have to do a better job of being a horse`s ***** or let me know when you`re being one . lol.

I think we all have those days. When they hit here , I try to keep myself locked up in the shop.

Thanks, rwright. Much appreciated.

Hey Robbie.. thanks for that. Yeah.. it was a small slight, but I got a little flack from a few people. Not worth mentioning any further, just that I picked up on it (couldn't miss it, actually.. ) and had to respond.

Problem is, I don't really have a shop to lock myself in.. just sitting at a desk most of the day. I take the moments on RCU to relax and refuel.. de-orbit if you will.. ha.. So, at times, when things are either extremely boring or on the opposite of the spectrum.. really high paced.. the de-orbit time is great.. I just need to sit back when I get that way and let things go by... not reply the way my mind may be working at that moment.

Aaaaanyway.. I'm sure I'm not the only one here that runs into those short-fuse moments.. but I don't want to be a person to try to punish someone else for my momentary little hang-up.

No Worries! Those of us that frequent the boards here on RCU probably recognized your post as being out of character. Lots of respect for standing up and clearing the air!

I`m pretty hot headed , but the years have a way of beating the rough eges off.

I was going off the deep end one day and I turned to an older fellar and said. What the hell do you think ? He looked me straight in the eye and said ,{ Son , it takes a lot of feathers to weigh a ton. }

Cracked me up and I never forgot it. lol ! From then on , when I started to get steamed up , I remember what the old boy said. Always brings a smile and changes my way of thinking .

Don't let my wife see that...I'd have to build a trophy case.

For the record CG, I don't think we have conversed on here much but I have read a lot of your comments in various forums. If I read something off the wall that you wrote, I would have thought the same "must be having a bad day". A reputation goes a long way to me!

I guess that means I should get an avatar depicting the residue left behind said award.

Just make sure it's hovering and/or doing something fun.

I need an avatar like that that blinks.... my wife says I suffer from intermittent bouts of ^$$holeism!
