Looking to get the Spektrum DX7 and wanted to find out the compatibility between its receivers and off-brand servo's?

I might be wrong, but I think they're mostly universal. The only company I know that switches wires around is airtronics. They require the wires to be in a different order. So if it says airtronics compatible, you might have to re-arrange the wires in the clip. Thats easily done though. Otherwise, pretty much anything will work.

smokeyser,
That's only partially true. The older Airtronics servos had the wiring different. All newer Airtronics equipment is wired the same as the other brands. In fact, they use the same "Z" connectors that JR/Spektrum uses, meaning they are directly compatible. The rest of what he said is true. You can use any brand of servo with your radio. Although, on Futaba servos you will need to snip off the alignment tab before you can use it, but that's pretty easy. Reference the attached diagram.

Thanks for the clarification Ken. That's a great diagram there. Just saved a copy to my desktop for future reference.
